Objective:

Create and deliver professional oral presentations.

This objective is fairly straightforward, and is one of my strengths.

Unfortunately, most of the presentations I have given over the past 4 years have not been recorded, so I’ve included one of the few videos I have of myself presenting in order to give an idea of my abilities. Though it was a more creative presentation, I’m hopeful it will demonstrate my ability to connect with an audience. I’ve also included the slideshows from a presentation I gave on my favorite nonprofit, a woman’s shelter in Boston called Rosie’s Place, and from a class I facilitated on family communication. Presenting, teaching, and facilitating conversations among peers have given me some of my favorite memories of my academic career, and I hope my passion for connecting with an audience is evident in the examples I’ve chosen to include.
